I just stumbled across this. My favorite movie opening ever. When this came out, I was 25 years old and had just started my career with GE Aircraft engines, in the controls department. We were working on the engine control for the GE F110-400 engine for the F-14. Replacing the Pratt and Whitney TF30 engine. We were pumped!!
