I like everything pho. The Aunt of my coworker in Crystal City owned a Vietnamese restaurant there. We'd go in for lunch and when I'd go to pay, "Auntie" would make me bus tables in a suit and tie.I like rare beef and beef balls

I always get extra MEAT in a SMALL (less noodles, but tons of meat). Even in today's crazy pho pricing, the extra meat is typically a bargain. OTOH some of the places LARGE bowls are ENORMOUS!!!
Absolutely simple supper. Homemade fries (double fried) with a hint of sea salt. I hate the term smash burger but this was my feeble attempt. Just ground beef, some pepper, seasoning salt and sea salt. Everything came out great. Used the little electric burner for the fries and the cast iron over charcoal.

Boys, my 16 year old asked for stew today. I have some cubed beef thawing, fresh potatoes and carrots dug. Just need to pick some peas and an onion. I'll ensure I eat to much and then sit around all lethargic and stuff.
