What are you eating right now?

Looks great! I prefer mine a lot less done but then again you eat that over several days as I've seen before so you kinda have to cook it fully through. I get it..👍
I definitely over cooked it on purpose so I could make serve cold Italian tuna and beans. Except I was tired and just showered after sweating all day too burned out hahaha so I just plated with EVOO and salt and constructed a salad with tofu and spicy greens and arugula

Hopefully I’m not hungry by 11am. Tomatoes from the garden again. It’s that time of year so eat em fresh while you can.
Put some good olive oil on all that and you will stay full. And don't eat the banana*.

*Straight sugars and carbs in banana will drive glucose UP. Followed naturally by insulin UP. When that insulin peaks and drops off, you WILL get hungry,

Doc wanted me to have a banana a day after my stroke to keep potassium up for the heart health. I eat one every 2-3 days. Too much banana and I have exit issues.

And for the record my stroke wasn’t heart related. Severe muscle spasms on the back of my neck for a couple of years made it happen. I’ve been off of the BP meds for a year after consulting with my Dr. Went for a follow up with the neurologist yesterday and BP was 125/72 with no meds. Eat good and stay as active as you can tolerate.

Talk to your doc about potassium citrate. Good source of K (Potassium) and citrate is good for kidneys. Light dose, very light - better K than a banana without the carbs.

Pulled the camper up to my happy place. Went 30 minutes across the ridge to “our” butcher shop that’s closing on the 10th. After that we went to a local creamery that their cheese and other cheeses associated with their business. Hit the grocery store for crackers, beer and wine. Oh, and the crappy pre packaged salad. Why this stuff? Because it was raining and the wind was blowing.

Here it is. I’m blowing my cover by posting this stuff 🤣.

Have to post from my phone for pics because I’m in the boonies. BRB!

Poor man’s charcuterie that has 5yr cheddar with anato added for color for some dang reason, green and black olive cheddar, fantastic summer sausage that’s won awards internationally, olives, homemade garlic dill pickles that are organic because we will live forever by eating it, garlic herb cheese spread from driftless cheese that’s clean and has fantastic flavor.

Brats speak for themselves.

Pabst for cooking brats and a Cabernet Sauvignon for the “charcuterie”.

The worst part about this? I forgot to pack the coffee! OMG! 😱
