I hit McDonald’s on the way home this morning 
took the empty oatmeal and drove to the window and the guy said I'll take care of it...
When I got home I got the oatmeal, double raisins and apples, as well as a apple pie.... the guy couldn't apologize enough as I am a regular but I also appreciate the drama free experience....

Curious why you just wouldn't just buy a box of Quaker instant oats and toss it in the microwave at home like McDonald's doesI hit McDonald’s on the way home this morning

My girlfriend and I had dinner on a patio and she had breaded ribs and I had smash burger poutine

I see two food groups there
So with all the storms last night here in Kansas, I opted for a Pizza. Papa Johns website was down so we had to pick The Hut. Well, after getting my food, apparently Pizza Hut doesn't have their own drivers. So I ordered one pizza, a bowl that comes with bread sticks and a side of bread sticks because she doesn't share well with me.
They forgot the extra bread sticks, we call and the manager was kinda mouthy and argumentative but said he was send out a bowl and sticks to replace. Well, by that time we were kinda passed all that and a hour later a young guy arrived to bring it. I tried to explain to him but he just grinned. Light brown skin and dark hair I went for Spanish to see if we could get a link
to happen. We grin 
and smile, he brings out his phone 
because I have difficulty in conjugation of verbs in past or future. We pass the phone back and forth til I get my point across.
We weren't going to eat it, so we gave it to him or to feed someone on the street. He smiled and walked away.
Then later, I get a random text

Feels good to do random acts of kindness to others. Whatever compelled me to do this I think we all know the answer.

Wife got caught in it coming from a small concert in kcmo. She was on the periphery of it on K-10 while the brunt of the storm & tornadoes went across Liberty, etc. She said she could feel the buffeting of the outback even at 45 mph from the much higher winds. All OK, though.
