I went to the American bbq place again yesterday. I shared a serve of chicken fried bacon, and a ribovlaki. Both were very good, the ribovlaki comes out of the kitchen under a dome that is filled with wood smoke.

The bacon is bacon that’s dipped in fried chicken batter and then deep fried.

The robovlaki is a souvlaki bread wrapped around tomato, onion, garlic sauce, smoked chicken and a beef rib with the bone in. On the side is a mini hsp of smoked lamb and smoked chicken on fries.

I’ll post the advert videos when I get home from work in a few hours.

That's not exactly American BBQ, but would have a go mate. I've seen deep fried butter, bacon, snickers bars, etc at county fairs.

Haha, I was under no illusion that these particular meals are American bbq.

Their regular menu might be closer though. It’s a choice of smoked meat served with waffle fries, corn bread & pickled trio of cucumbers, onions & red cabbage.

I come from good stock, my dad’s mom lived to 101 and all my other grandparents lived into their mid 80s. And cancer has already taken a swipe at me and thankfully was unsuccessful.

I was actually going to say in my previous post that maybe I’m related to him
