Funnel cakes are so rare in Australia that the only ones I have had were ones that I made myself about 10 years ago. I skipped the powdered sugar though and from memory drizzled a little maple syrup on them.

Wish the Indian owned Marathon would give that to me. Lately the coffee tastes like they haven’t cleaned pots in 25 years or more too

7-eleven down here is back under Japanese ownership. Was worried when it changed back they might scrap the 7th visit reward but they retained it. They clean the machines frequently at the couple of local stores that I visit.
