It's always the last rep that builds the muscle if you can lift a weight 6 times but really you can get 8 but stiped at 6 you achieved nothing you never overloaded the muscle .

And did you lift progressive overload
I did many Russian designed workouts and a bunch of Weider stupidity in the day... I did low reps with heavy weights and ultra high rep days with light weights..
A failed bodybuilder so I went the other route as many do.... ( no roids, no compete)

I worked out in the day at Kirkwood fitness in Wilmington DE. And Hard Times Police gym in Elkton Md.

The nonsense names were given to me by gym clowns in good fun.
I also played Tournment softball for years.....

But 2015 killed much of my weight lifting with a heart attack due to undiagnosed diabetes that ran rampant on my father's side which nobody talked about....

I still have a full gym in my house collecting some dust and I try to use it but I have other issues. Not lying of course as I showed @AutoMechanic it a few years ago.


I was a big fan of Bill Kazmaier
I competed at 181 lbs and would rep 550 lbs 30 x and later blew out a knee playing football. ..

Just another nobody.....
I admire your Aerobic activity and congratulate you for it...well done!
