Went with a few friends to try another Korean BBQ/Hot Pot

This makes place 2 of 4 I've tried
And a fifth is coming soon

This one was better than the previous one
This time we did both BBQ & Hot Pot
Because grilled noodles and boiled steak don't end well
I was never the best with chopsticks, but when the rice is sticky enough you get good practice
Bulgogi Beef, pork belly, and the short rib were some of my favorites
Even the plain steak was a decent cut
Unlike the other place, you don't use your phone to order
They give you an iPad for the table
All you can eat for $40 per person, not the worst deal out there
Some people (older people

) resent the concept of going out to eat and still having to cook
I somewhat agree, but you get to make things just the way you like it, and you don't have to clean up
Don't be wasteful tho, they can charge up to $20 per lb of wasted food
Just order as you go, they'll happily bring more of any meat/fish/veg/noodle you want
There's a DIY open bar of sauces, and 3 foods for picky eaters
It's more of an interactive/social function than normal eating out
But it's an introverts dream come true
There was two or three basic finger foods for the inevitable person in the group that struggles with different foods
We don't judge, we just observe
It's not your traditional American themed Asian food (that being said, this is still Staten Island, Calamari was on the menu

)
But $120 OTD for 3 people all you can eat, I've spent more and got less
Next week, we might try the less interactive but allegedly more authentic Cast Iron Pot
We've gotten used to KDM cars, maybe I'll get me a KDM beer
Would recommend
