What are you eating right now?

Healthy snack

Wait why because he ordered a water with it.
That just adds to the list.

Primarily carbs.
Fat sauces, probably sugar in the sauces.
Dubious cheap ingredients
The amount of calories in those pictures is OFF THE CHARTS
What meats/proteins might be there, highly processed and just re-heated from frozen

But really, why it bugs me (and I admit, MY problem) I find whole "Tour of Italy" thing is very insulting.

Feel free to eat what you want, don't take my running commentary as a personal insult.

My co worker is 6ft 3~ and 270 and strong as ox. He eats primarily water, any and all protein and tiny bit oatmeal daily. No wonder he can grab 3 70lb bags of calcium chloride to load salt hopper like nothing. He said “I don’t need carbs, as I have a few ULTRA’s here and then, that’s it!”

I’m just heating up a shepherds pie right now for lunch. I weighed in at 188.6 pounds this morning (fasted for 16.5 hours before that) So I have now lost 7.3 pounds since Dec 31. I was looking at my records of my weight and the last time I was consistently in the 188 range was two years ago! So I’m even more motivated than ever to continue my journey ☺️

I’m upping my steps per day this year too. Last year my average was 12,165 per day (a total of 4.4 million steps!!) and so far this year I’m tracking at over 13,000 per day. That will go even higher once the weather warms up and I resume doing my walking tours in Niagara Falls. This year I’m planning on doing three tours a day instead of two and will probably be working 6 days a week. Last year I really didn’t start doing a lot of walking tours until September.

It seriously bugs you lol I could careless really what anyone eats or don’t eat I post just to show my daily diet along with exercise what it contains or don’t on general basis people can see and take it for what it’s worth. My needs may be different than others but in general I believe it’s probably solid advice for anyone wanting to get lean and stay lean.
But I never eat pasta that’s a rule I live by and I can afford to.

I can eat small controlled amounts of good, real pasta made with healthy organic grain. But it is indeed very easy to eat pasta out of bounds.

Seriously bugs me? - Well -not like losing sleep - more like trying to help the younger BITOG guys. I'm headed for 70, and I'm telling - or trying to tell folks I've been down some not so good diet paths/bad eating habits. Like an entire package of pasta kind of nasty.

I know I have a bread addiction. I'm not hiding that fact. I can control it, but in this world it's like an opiate addict surrounded by shelves of every morphine derivative known to humankind. Maybe I'm asking people to join the BA club. No one is perfect. No one lives forever, and if you don't want all kinds of pains and health issues later it's better to start early before such problems surface. If not for yourself, it's less burden on your loved ones and the health care system, frankly.

Hey I listened to you and started weights and pump class last year. Definitely the #1 healthy thing I did in 2024. We all can learn and grow.

I’m discovering I can get by with oatmeal in tiny amount and my tofu and chicken and beef from local butcher. I’m taking my co worker up on the no carb thing or “minimal carbs”. I just don’t need many.

I love my greens, vegetables and eggs.
