A little breakdown of nutrition for those who have a marginal interest in that sort of thing. I don't normally do this because I roughly know what quantity of food contains what but I thought some people might find this interesting.
I broke my meal down in energy content, carbs, and protein. I did not bother calculating fat content as it's pretty low. However, the Kcal figure includes the calories that come from the fat.
Ingredients:
100 g chicken
120 g baby portobello mushrooms
95g of mixed plant matter
50 g tomatoes
1 egg
1 tablespoon salsa
--------------------------------------
327 kcal
18 g carbs (including 8.5 g fiber), so I take 50% off the 8.5 g and subtract that from the 18 g for a total of
13.75 g carbs
41 g protein
This would be a very goof meal by itself for someone wanting to lose weight. While it's not much food it's enough to not cause any feeling of distress.
I also ate this salad.
And I had a bowl of yogurt with blueberries and chia seeds. It's thick like pudidng.
