What are you eating right now?

I had chicken drumsticks tonight. Sweet Baby Ray's sauce that the county public nurse got started for me. Saw the local grocery store had them on sale for $1.99 per LB. (if you can call that a sale) :mad: I hire them twice per week to help me out and she got my groceries.
You pay the county $ per hour, and they will do most things you ask, within reason.

As she unpacked my groceries, after putting chicken in the fridge, I said why did you put that in there? Pointed to my cast iron fry pan and said to fry us chicken for lunch!:ROFLMAO: And she was willing. Probably beats cleaning toilets...LOL Nice gal and I like her.

So I ended up just having her put it in the crockpot with BBQ Sauce. Sent her packing after that, was supposed to snow today and the prediction was correct. Ended up getting a major snow squall, about time people were getting off work to commute home. News said it is a mess with cars off in the ditches. School canceled tomorrow.

County labor is cheap, costs me $9.00 per hour. Can't beat a deal like that! They will shower you, get groceries, shop, vacuum, cook, clean, do laundry, change bedding, etc.

They evaluate your income upon application and charge based off that. I'm considered "low income" because I am only taking social security as income. Never asked how much I have in the bank, or what my investments could pay off, if I chose to use them. Do not take income off them at present.

Last 2 years, my checking account only went down about $5000 per year, and I can live with that for quite awhile. Guess at age 70 or 73 you have to take some out of 401K and stuff every year. Will talk with tax accountant about it this year at tax time.

Guess I supported the free loaders for years, when I was working. Time to take a small amount back now.

Serving up a sloppy mess. French toast made with the unhealthiest bread I could find: Japanese milk bread. My excuse is that it was given to me. I don't buy that stuff as it's lethal and I don't consider it food. On the other hand, I don't like letting things go to waste and I have been known to be somewhat of a garbage disposal.

Why, what, how dare you? It's just a misshapen and slightly crispy French country omelet. What do you expect, first class breakfasting at Jacque's?

I was distracted while preparing my meal. I smelled a horribly foul stench. Somehow cheesy but also resembling carrion in a stage of juicy decomposition. I had to investigate and followed my sniffer until it took me to one of Smoky's hidy holes. The brat had nicked two empty natto containers from the trash. The smell was something else. Bad kitty will get a bath as soon as I catch him. 😼🛀
