Full disclosure - you may be spot on and I need to make some serious food selection changes. I have noticed after any carbs, I want to sleep. And I am now getting a hangover on the morning from what I speculate is carbs.

The dough, sauce and cooking were acceptable. I did not complain loudly. Wife hates a scene. I can appreciate generically prosciutto can be called ham, but strips of plain packaged lunch meat ham.......hmmm......no one else does this..........

You might not have liked it but the Anglo tourists love these things. The food has to be very close to what they eat at their home country. Give them normal local food and they will ask to speak to the manager and demand a refund.
