What are you eating right now?

View attachment 181424View attachment 181425Steak and ribs and beer. Had to do a screenshot of the steak since the photo was too big and I haven’t looked into editing software yet. Very good beer. Yuengling is my favorite beer and this one is really good too.
Please no full-size images for online use ever. Here you can't even post them beyond a certain size. Just download and install Photoshop Express from the App Store. I rarely edit images on my phone but when I do I use the Image Size App specifically for scaling. This app is also available for IOS. Super-easy to use. You just plug in the desired width or height in pixels and the app will create a scaled version of your image for uploading and/or sharing.

Yesterday we went to Gordito's in Greenwood where they serve the "baby burrito"... as in a burrito as big as a baby. We got the regular size instead which are merely as big as your head.

Burning the midnight oil and breaking my overnight fast with this delicious treat. I hope the particle and bubble count doesn't exceed the draconian limits set by the senior board members.

That's a real melange on your plate. Did it have a name?
Pablo, I generally prefer simple dishes with fresh/ quality ingredients . The word fusion in reference to food is a major turn off for me.

This dish was simply labeled chicken with gnocchi with bacon, peas, in a butter sauce. The dish sold me with gnocchi and butter. The bacon with this dish was very nicely smoked and chunked. Great dish that I suspect anyone can easily make. Of note, the chicken cuts were very small.

Agree.

When I see the word "fusion" relating to food, I now KNOW, with little to no doubt the food will be terrible. Garbage.

It's not that I don't mind pairing maybe something people don't think about . I have made some incredible taste combos. But a Chinese/Italian/Mexican fusion restaurant just means they do none of those things well. Koreans can come up with some real gag worthy "fusion"

Your combo is not so strange. Maybe not something classic Italian but other than the chunked chicken and USA style bacon all things reminiscent Italiano.
