Penne Spasso - penne, mushroom, bacon, peas

Dang!
I was cashing-in a big jar of quarters, nickels and dimes to buy mucho' top-tier oil tomorrow. Must be $225-$250 in that huge jar.

Sorry that your hairy-top food pic wasn't something that I'd photo-shop in my next cookbook. Didn't think that my opinion of the hairy topping would rattle your feathers that much Pablo..... so sorry that it did!

I'll place my Amsoil order online at the website instead.
Peace-out!

Lunch: Chawanmushi (Japanese Savory Steamed Custard)
Chawanmushi is a classic Japanese savory custard that‘s traditionally steamed in a small cup. This smooth and silky custard is seasoned with dashi stock. Chicken pieces, fish cake, mushrooms, and other items are added to enhance the savory notes. The custard is generally served as an appetizer, often while still warm from the oven.
I had lunch at a friend's home where she's been teaching me a few cooking techniques. The photo is hers.

My wife loves that. Comfort food for her.
