What are you eating right now?

It comes in a can. Fried mackerel, pickled in a spicy, vinegar-based marinade. It's very delicious. When I pop open a can the rising acetic acid vapors are intoxicating. There's 500g of fish in one can and that makes two servings for me.
Good enough. I thought it came from your recipe repertoire.

Any brand you recommend? Country of origin?

Far better off with nothing.

Stinks that mainline sodas are full of corn syrup or other junk chemicals. I’m just glad that unsweet tea is more mainstream now. Sometimes you’re on the road and get a drink…
Yep..that's all I drink... McDonald's $1.39 now. Large
Oxford PA...$1.99 wow
Wendy's not as good $3.29

I love how your grape tomato looks like a ni....... I mean maraschino cherry surrounded by a auraofgravy.
You know you are something else? What is wrong with you? What kind of kind of person with culinary leanings confuses okonomi yaki sauce with gravy?

:p

The North Atlantic mackerel were caught, killed, and then canned on a highly efficient factory ship by the Germans. The cans are BPA-free. The 500g can used to go for around $7 but has been increasingly hard to find and the online price is now often over $20 per can if not out of stock altogether. Maybe the product has been discontinued. I bought my last stash of 20 cans at CostPlus on sale for around $6 a can. No mas, nichts, zilch, bomboş since then. Maybe someone ate all the fish? My current stash will last me another 2 months. Most of the other brands have mackerel only in water, oil, or tomato sauce. There's also smoked mackerel by the same German company but it's a 190g can and the regular price is $8 a can. That's a bit much. Whatever happens, I won't eat rollmops.

The Mid-Atlantic sardines went into the net in Moroccan coastal waters. These cans are also BPA-free.

Cousin's Lobster Truck was in the neighborhood last Saturday night.

1 ea - Connecticut lobster roll (hot)
1 ea - Maine lobster roll (cold)
3 ea - Lobster tacos
1 cup - Clam chowder

Total $81 and some change.
