Yesterday, or maybe the day before,

Nothing. Going to hospital today at 11:30 appointment for cardiac conversion. Mom says there is a great restaurant near me called “the standard” with tons of craft beers and great sandwiches and brisket, BBQ etc. glad she’s driving 😍😍
 
Breakfast this morning. One ounce of Bobs Red Mill Ten Grain Cereal with a little cinnamon and some pineapple tidbits. Added boiling water and stirred. Microwave for thirty seconds. Super cheap.
 
I ate the corned beef and cabbage the cleaning lady brought the other day. It was enough to make two meals.
Good taste...but:

She sliced meat with the grain, instead of against grain. Made it chewy and tough to eat.
Veggies were mushy. Must have put them in same time as the meat. But I still won't complain about free food, someone else cooked while I was napping.

I did offer "constructive advice" and she took that well.
I'm 67 and she is 36, so I have a few cooks under my belt. She admitted it was the first one she ever cooked.

All part of growing up and learning. I may have learned from my past screw up cooking as well, like we all do.:unsure:

I wanted a pastrami, but I wasn't up for a $22 3/4lb sandwich
So an everything bagel with cream cheese was the final order
It was good, I'm not sure if $7.50 good tho 😳

Bojangles chicken sandwich 🥪 with mayonnaise and pickles on it. And some mashed potatoes. This is like day three in a row that we have something I don’t like for dinner lol. Parents made pot roast in the crock pot 🤢🤮. I would never eat that ever. I’m a country boy but I can’t do pot roast. Just something about it to me is gross. I think it’s the texture of the meat. I don’t really like the flavor either so there’s that too. Not my thing. They were happy to get me something different though so that’s good. I requested Chinese food but they said they weren’t spending that much for one person to eat lol. I would pay but I’ve only got $3 in my bank account.
 
Seriously?

Number 1 ingredient in Ovaltine is SUGAR. You need to stop man. You can get the same nutrients in Ovaltine elsewhere.

Not being an arse here.
The Ovaltine I’m using has like 5g sugar. It’s not very seeet either.

What about low sodium v-8

I see tomatoes and others have potassium also
 
Legumes are oversold. They are not terrible but they have a lot more carbs than people think and not enough fat to make you feel full so people tend to eat a lot more of them to feel full and get a large carb load plus add more salt for flavor,
