What are you eating right now?

Grandpa called caffeinated chocolate Nazi candy. :ROFLMAO: He was born in 1922 so he must have known what he was talking about. He said German combat crews' rations included caffeinated chocolate so nobody would nod off. I call it trucker chocolate because I'm a refined and sensitive specimen. The shown quantity has 70mg of caffeine which is equivalent to what's in a 3/4 cup of coffee.

A quarter of the whole bar has 70 mg of caffeine. That is about what's in a 3/4 cup of regular coffee. The shown quantity is 1/4 bar because there are 4 bars to a pack. Then there's also the cup of coffee.

I think I remember reading that the NAZIs laced their chocolate rations with methamphetamine. Blitzkrieg, all night long!

Edit: found it. The drug was called Pervitin and everyone from Hitler down to lowly ditch diggers were using it.

The quoted section is flawed. My fault for editing after posting.

Pervitin was an OC pill. Sounds like a questionable vitamin. I may have heard that Pervitin was sometimes combined with cocaine.
"Honey, don't forget to take your Pervitin."
I don't always take stimulants but when I do it's Pervitin."

Yes, methamphetamine was available without a prescription in Germany for a while. The German army gave it out like candy. Factory workers, too. Gotta keep those overtime hours going.

Here's Hitler supposedly tweaking.
