What are you eating right now?

Wife brought these from Africa recently. Just tried the Zebra one today - pretty good.

Hmm... I don't think zebra is kosher. Does crocodile paté count as bush meat?
Marsh meat?

I came to a conclusion the other day when cougar meat came up.

Basically there are three types of land meat delicious to humans

Chicken category
Beef category
Pork category

My guess zebra meat beefy
Croc meat tastes like chicken

I’ve had gator but not croc

With liver pate things get weird though. Some is just not edible. Take lamb liver. Holy shikey.

I've heard people compare zebra meat to venison. Now, in pate form it's really hard to make out as it's got various other flavors/seasonings added for taste.

I've had crocodile burgers before. They tasted great, a bit fatty. But again, it was heavily seasoned, so probably masking some of its unique taste.

Well, you also left out fish. Fish is delicious and also meat. Except if you're Catholic, I think.
Well I did think about it, so I very specifically wrote "land meat"

Fish are very delicious and quite varied, a lot more varied than land meat. At the high level we have oily fish and not so oily fish. I never as a kid could figure out the word "shellfish". Such mollusks and crustaceans and others are not fish at all. But quite tasty additions to the diverse plethora of good meat from the streams, rivers, lakes and seas.
