What are you eating right now?

Finally, you got tomatoes!
Mouth is watering, just in anticipation! Even better, is a visit with Daughter!
Have some things to go over with her anyway. Bank, investment account passwords and such.
Planning for my own death. I have them all written down for her, just need to show her the stash.
Already is signed into my bank safe deposit box and has a key.

Looks good @vavavroom.

Pro tip: Use bread crumbs instead of flour to prevent sticking to peel or stone.

BTW, my preferred herb is fresh basil.
Oddly I have no oregano plants but 6 basil plants. I eat that stuff on everything. I have an African basil plant- tastes like Thai basil but leaves are purple and a bit thicker

There really is only one herb I don’t like greatly: tarragon

I'm neutral towards basil. Fine on a pizza but I won't go out of my way to chow down on a bowl of it. Not a fan of tarragon.

Had my first BLT of the season! It sure hit the spot. Handful of blueberries for dessert.
Guess my Daughter canned 9 quarts of these bad boys last Saturday.

I'm having a chicken bowl at an Angry Chickz in Vacaville. Medium angry chicken over buttery rice with slaw and mac and cheese. Im glad I went with medium angry. It's rather hot. Pictures tomorrow once I return from my trip.

I love the freshness that basil provides, it's a game changer for me, and I do enjoy the dried Italian oregano too. No thyme for me, thank you very much. My wife will often make fresh basil pesto with her basil plants.

Can't say that I've been to too many Filipino restaurants in the PNW except for the Lumpia joint at the Uwajimaya food court... and I've never really explored the international food Meca that is Bremerton, WA.

You nailed it. Not sure how long you have lived in PNW - and not focused on one type of food - but in general restaurants have sucked, especially in smaller towns until the restaurant renaissance - probably started when late baby boomers (b 1955-1964) became affluent middle agers ca 2005 or so. There are many laggards to this day. And they made it through C-19
