What are you eating right now?

Old neighbor gal dropped off Dijon Mustard/Honey chicken and veggies yesterday while I was napping. Nice of her.

MOW delivered again. Even my Son is sick of them and has not picked up the last 3 meals. Says they taste bland. :)

Calling to cancel them later today. Would rather open a can of sliced peaches and eat them. LOL

Breakfast this Saturday morning. Starting to appreciate/enjoy salads for breakfast, and find I am not so hungry for lunch when eating this type of salad for breakfast. I am no longer having fruit juices at breakfast- just black coffee and water.

I'm hunkered down in my little tool shed slash workshop waiting for the wife to announce that the pozole rojo she's making for dinner is ready... hoping she doesn't skimp on the chili's like last time. :)
 
Salad count? Wifey makes the dressing too. (Romaine, avocado, dried cranberries, EVOO, Italian rose' wine vinegar, French dijon mustard)
Vitamin C inhibits nitrosamine formation when cured meats are consumed. That's why ascorbic acid must be added to cured meat products. However, heat kills Vitamin C so this works only if the meat product is not heated above 160°. I would want a good dose of active Vitamin C when consuming crispy pepperoni and such.
