There's no milk in milk stout. It's called milk stout because during the brewing process lactose (milk sugar) is added. Lactose resists fermentation into alcohol. The sweetness from the lactose takes the edge off the harshness of the coffee, or in this case, espresso. Coffee milk stout is malty with chocolate undertones and little carbonation. It's irigins go back to the English working class who drank it as part of a nutritious breakfast in the earlier part of the 20th century. AM stout.No offence, but somehow beer, milk and coffee do not sound appealing to me.
