People do tend to assume honey is healthy. It's not. Glad you are getting local good stuff. THAT is certainly better than the industrial stuff. Trust me, you don't want to read about that.

True but the same goes for fat. Any fat you don't burn for fuel your body stores. Nothing is more lipogenic than fat because it is already fat. Any excess fuel turns into fat. One Fuji apple has as much sugar as 2 tbs of honey. Ya can't win unless you eat Styrofoam.Maybe next time I’ll eat an apple as I love Fuji apples.
