What are you eating right now?

Don’t know, and personally don’t care. Sorrry, I’m sick of the criticism and harassment over “carbs” I get for enjoying a treat once in while. Have a good weekend.
There is no criticism and certainly no harassment. Just pointing out the facts. Eat what you want in moderation. Just like with AM, trying to keep everyone healthy and OK, maybe not happy!! :ROFLMAO:

People do tend to assume honey is healthy. It's not. Glad you are getting local good stuff. THAT is certainly better than the industrial stuff. Trust me, you don't want to read about that.

I did take your advice and get work done for insulin stuff. They told me straight out I’m not diabetic.

Maybe next time I’ll eat an apple as I love Fuji apples.

Honey isn't that bad as long as you don't drink a whole bottle, lol.
Sure. I agree a teaspoon is not going to kill you. But honey is mainly fructose. Any fructose that doesn’t get used right away is stored as fat.

Fructose can be converted to the glucose but not by any cells but in your already taxed liver.........really people should not kid themselves about honey. Especially if you are adding to other carbs, eat other forms of sugar and processed foods. Basically, honey was OK back in the days before tons of refined sugar and flour. But now, best to avoid - again some folks might put honey on their cereal but would think putting sugar on as unhealthy.

True but the same goes for fat. Any fat you don't burn for fuel your body stores. Nothing is more lipogenic than fat because it is already fat. Any excess fuel turns into fat. If you want to get really fat you should

Eat a decent caloric surplus
consisting of mostly fat and carbs. Throw in more or less protein.
Eat all the time, and three big meals a day.
Sit on your butt all day.
Balloon time, big boy!
