Speaking of food...My best friend that I worked with for over 8 years, asked me for my glazed ham ball recipe last week. So I snapped a pic of the recipe and texted it to her. She went and bought all the stuff to put it together. I used to bring them to work and she loved them. I told her to double the sauce and dump it over them until about 1/3 way up the balls.

She had a friend helping her and friend doubled the wet ingredients for the meat instead, so it turned into a sloppy mess and they threw it all out. She told me about it after the fact with a phone call.

After telling her they just needed to add more meat...she felt stupid. They must have had $40 in the food that got wasted.

Needs more oregano. Not kidding. The real stuff.

I get zero credit for making chicken breast with marjoram and discovering bacon and olive oil with chicken turn the magic soap flavor of marjoram into something magnificent.

I hate hate doing stuff on the phone! Trust me, I tried. Can't even send a text without one of those pushy things. Fingers were not made for that.

Tried Facebook once at work. It realized that I was not on my home PC and would not let me sign on, no big deal. Got home and could not either. It made me change my password. Very frustrating for an old man. Not even sure that I remember the BITOG password. I have passwords stored on the PC.

Leftover pulled pork that I smoked with fellows at American Legion yesterday. Got enough for 12 more sandwiches. One sandwich today and elderly lady homemade coleslaw and two pickles she canned.

I didn't know that. Thanks for posting.

It's not something I'd do with any frequency, but it's sure nice to know. I tried it and it works. I'll try it on other sites and in different situations. I can see a use for it with email.

I'm continuing my relentless assault with terrible food. My wife asked for French toast and bacon and I obliged. She's a little younger than me - my son calls her his little sister, and she's a crossfitter so she can have French toast once a week. She picked two nice slices while I got stuck with the misshapen runt. Oh well, I'm just not a picky eater like GON and AM. I added a half-cremated beef patty and fried up the last of the French toast batter. I even squirted some maple syrup in the general direction of my plate.

I'll ask my pastry chef who makes them but I have strick orders to be as low sugar as possible. With that said it's mainly pure date flavor I know black molasses and bit of brown sugar.
