What are you eating right now?

Now that I've deliberately spoiled my appetite I'm having a little chicken fricassée made with leftover chicken from yesterday. Chicken, cream,, egg yolks, onions, carrots, a chopped tomato, shimmeji mushrooms, pepper, rosemary, marjoram (No oregano - oregano is for 1970's housewives' cuisine and savages only), and a little lovage. I was out of celery. Lovage has a strong celery flavor and is an ideal substitute for celery flavor. Only a little is needed.

A couple fresh roasted sardines with California EVOO, real freshly dried Italian oregano, purchased from a grizzly guy for 2Eu who couldn't make change while dressed as a savage housewife, with a squeeze of lemon.

Two burger patties, with some dank marjoram purchased in the tin from some mysterious gypsy woman in Bellingham, a mound of our own collards, three runny fried eggs on top. One small avocado, 6 black kalamata olives and some cuke slices.

Broccoli Rabe sauteéd with EVOO, garlic, Calabrian and Aleppo peppers,
topped with grated, 9-month Pecorino Romano.

Just finished baking an acorn squash. Topped with real butter, salt, pepper and brown sugar.
Tasted great!

Added more squash to next weeks grocery list.
Might try cooking next one in the microwave. Put some slits in the skin to vent the moisture. (so I have read)
I had a heck of a time splitting the one today into halves.
Don't have the muscle power anymore and scared I might cut myself!

3.6 pounds down from Tuesday. Admittedly, I ran a little harder and cut caloric intake by another 600 kcal to 1,200 kcal. a day. I started out at 211.8 pounds on Monday. So I have lost 6.6 lbs in 4 days. Yeah, water weight. However, once I hit 200 pounds I will remain on a daily 500 kcal deficit for another three weeks to let actual fat loss occur.



Today's lunch consisted of almond pancakes with flax seed meal and wheat germ, pork belly instead of bacon, and figs. My apologies for the horrible picture. My phone got smoked. The new phone has arrived and things should improve.
