What are you eating right now?

Then stop.

I enjoy restaurant food from time to time. But it's rare that almost every place doesn't send my blood glucose to the moon.
Yup... many places load up the salt and sugar and even in things like bread.
If you have diabetes, you feel it quickly and often your body will go numb from the excess sugars....

You don't have restaurants in your area that offer any of these or similar things? Many places offer a protein plate.

Grilled fish and some non-starchy veggies
A salad with some grilled chicken thrown on top
An omelet but skip the toast
Any dead mammal or avian with non-starchy veggies
A tofu dish
Sashimi
Or stay in the car and have some water and a Tic Tac!

Didn't you say restaurants were sending your BG to the moon? AM will probably end up on a mandatory lettuce-only diet and no beer for the rest of his life. "Would you like a glass of sparkling water with your lettuce, sir? Also, is this for here or to go?"

I'm having a small bowl, maybe half a cup, containing pistachios, flax seeds, chia seeds, wheat germ, and inulin stirred together in filk. Wheat germ and pistachios have a high sterol content High is relative, though. Plant and fungi sterols can lower LDL and total cholesterol but really only with sterol supplementation. You can get maybe 1/5 of the sterols you need for cholesterol reduction from the food you eat. Don't fall for sterol-enriched foods like margarine and yogurt.

Yeah they do sometimes even when I am careful. Restaurants can even slip in all kinds junk that might harm your titanium liver. It's pretty fascinating. I shouldn't say always or anything like that, but it happens. We get home, do the prick test after an hour or so and holy vegetarian cow. Plenty of easy sugars old cooky throws in, or more likely a delivery truck brings in the back door, ingredients that are simply not typically in the foodstuff I selected.

It's best as you list, simple things. Harder to hide the good stuff.

The stuff AM eats? His liver could be used for science.

Golden Corral breakfast. Not exactly what I had planned but oh well. I wanted Hardee’s. I don’t really enjoy eating in restaurants anymore.
You can fix that. Less tools, more AZN domestic partner shopping.
I'm having hot dogs and macaroni salad because AZN domestic partner made some stuff that is so spicy El Diablo wouldn't eat it.

Had Carabbas tonight for dinner. I got the Chicken Marsala and a side of mashed potatoes. You can pick salad or soup. The salads aren’t American salads so I won’t eat them and so I ordered the soup for my parents as I don’t care for soup. I also got a side of the Marsala gravy for my potatoes.

Where's the chicken marsala? And what is Marsala gravy? What's an American salad? Dressing with lettuce? I have so many questions!

I'm eating a dozen pan-fried gyoza that I dip in a mix of vinegar and soy sauce. I usually don't eat that late but my schedule is still all screwed up. By Wednesday I should be back on my normal schedule which means I'll actually get to go to bed at midnight and get up by 04:30 which is my normal routine. For the past couple of weeks I have been getting up at 8:00 am and hating it.

Eating some cashews while I wait on clothes to wash and dad to get out of the shower so we can go eat breakfast. I’m assuming all the places are open today with it being a holiday. It’s nice to be off work and have a paid holiday. Anyone who took off Friday or tomorrow won’t get paid for the holiday.
