Walking taco's from Daughter's house tonight. Granddaughter has high school graduation tomorrow and their party was today.
Not going to graduation tomorrow. Too much walking and I can't handle that.
Was not hungry, so did not eat there. Just had a whiskey and coke. Did think ahead and brought a to-go-container for later.
Daughter filled it up for me before driving me home. Life is good!

Golden Corral. It is what it is I guess I wanted Chinese food but I am tired of eating alone so decided to go here with the family. Never will understand the draw to the place but it’s ok. It’s been too long without Chinese I’m beginning to have withdrawals lol. Guess I’ll go to the buffet tomorrow for lunch.
Is Golden Corral now all weigh and pay? Probably over 5 years since I have been to one. Never heard of paying by weight, but it makes sense.

I think for to go it is. If you eat in you pay before you eat. For three of us one adult and two seniors it was $50 something. You aren’t missing anything lol. Ever since they removed pepperoni and guacamole from the buffet I haven’t enjoyed it as much.
I only went maybe once per year, when I was still working. It was so-so at best. Just went when it was their BD and got to choose.
Plenty of food options though-so I do give them that. We just went in for a quick lunch during work hours. From the looks of some folks there, they went to put the feed bag on as we call in Iowa, and stay for several hours eating, Charging per LB still makes sense, from a business prospective.
