What are you eating right now?

I'm frolicking with an affogato for lunch. For an exotic twist, I used toasted almond ice cream and spoiled myself with three Maraschino cherries. I'll be following up with some more frolicking in the woods. Maybe I'll be hunting mushrooms and grouse for dinner. 😜

Other than some odds and ends, I just did my first cook on the Traeger. Turned out great considering I could have used a better balance of spice. The only issue I found was the digital meat probe was not optimal for this smaller bird. I ended up checking with my smaller analog thermometer.

Took about 2 hours from start to finish and the kids loved it.

I've been watching Uncle Roger videos on YouTube and making egg fried rice based on his recipe. It's a lot of ingredients. LOL. I'll need to revisit the Asian grocery store in another week or two to buy more sambal and rice.

Hotdogs 🌭. Not the biggest fan of hot dogs, never have been but it’s what was made so I didn’t turn it down. My dad has fed us so many hotdogs in my lifetime that I don’t ever want to see one again. I was really hoping for some bbq tonight though lol. Had lunch with a coworker at the Hunan House Chinese buffet in Christiansburg Va the town where I where I work. Gonna see if he wants to go again tomorrow lol. He flys I buy. Meaning I pay he drives because I hate driving and no way in heck I’m crossing 4 lanes of traffic.
