What is in a breakfast burrito down under?
Sounds like Tex-Mex has made it to Australia. "Tex-Mex" is what we call a fusion of Texas and Mexican food.My wife is with me.
The one I chose had scrambled egg, chicken chorizo, cheese, pico de gallo, a hashbrown and mild jalapeño sauce in it.
We have had Taco Bill (not bell) since the 1970s in Victoria, which I presume is tex-mex.Sounds like Tex-Mex has made it to Australia. "Tex-Mex" is what we call a fusion of Texas and Mexican food.
I think most people here would cringe at calling Taco Bell (or Bill) Mexican or Tex-Mex. If the food is anything like in the US, it would be kinda like calling cheap processed commercial white bread "French bread." Lots of people enjoy it (me included) but it's still heavily American-ized.We have had Taco Bill (not bell) since the 1970s in Victoria, which I presume is tex-mex.
