Not going to happen. Couple years ago she was worried about another neighbor and did a welfare
check on him. Door screen open and music playing. No answer, so she finally walked in and found him deceased.
Called the emergency squad. Lights and sirens filled the neighborhood.

I expect no less. Plus it gives her and excuse to walk over and get some exercise. ;)

Seriously: She deserves better than I could offer, in my old age and condition.

I just came back from Easter dinner at my girlfriend’s parents house. I had butter chicken, scalloped potatoes, turkey with gravy, cheese balls, pita bread with spinach dip and chicken fingers 😃 And also some carrot cake (does that count as my vegetable?) 🤪
 
Had awesome spiral 9.5 lb ham, homemade mashed potatoes, asparagus and kale and spring I’d side salad. The lady and I and her daughter went to Air Force veteran house today. Watched pirates lose again. But I’m a CUBS fan so don’t care. Saw Angels rally to hear the GIANTS too.

Leftovers I was given as well as ham bone with 5lbs meat on it. Pablo is having convulsions now 🤣🤣☠️💀

You are the first cub fan I ever heard of. Cubs really just have a crowd, but no actual fans, with the exception of you.

Would have been nice to see what's under the tin foil, we want to live vicariously through you.

Sorry I am a true cub fan. Born as one. Been to Wrigley Field 4 times.

Under foil is some oatmeal raisin cookies, and salad. Under other plate was bout 1lb ham sliced, mashed potatoes, succotash. Unlike some here I have true Legion friends who are true friends whether they are American Legion members or average Joe like me
 
We spent $400 and got a free frozen turkey breast at the local grocery store. We put in the freezer and cooked up the free frozen turkey breast that we got in November. I'll be having turkey sandwiches all week.

We way way over ate

We had a church Easter breakfast in Kodiak. It was kinda amazing the spread of foods. Meats and egg dishes. Sourdough sweet rolls never had something like this very tasty

Dinner we went to a friend of their family and had spiral honey ham and all the fixings

As a guest I felt awkward enough that I didn’t take food pics

The conversations with C130 pilots and helicopter mechanics was very interesting. Coast Guard gets Navy hand me down choppers for example
 
Kaledo Verde: got a jump on lunch and made a version of Caldo Verde this morning, which I'll enjoy later in the day. Leek, onion, Yukon Golds with skin, and a big bunch of kale, including diced stems, simmered in my poblano-infused vegetable broth and enhanced with a bit of Aleppo and Gochugaru pepper.

I've gotta stop using my phone for pics, but it's so convenient ...
