What are you doing right now?

Looking up how long the new Spiderman movie is. 2hr 25min. Wife wants us to go see it as a family, which means I'm obligated... I actually would like to see it, but I'd rather see it at home. I just don't see how the experience is better in a theater. Maybe it'd finally be loud enough for me to hear, that's about the only thing I think: I sure will miss the ability to pause, and the price will be better at home once it hits streaming.

I wonder if I can change her mind between now and then...

The dealer called my wife about her car and a insurance appraiser is looking at the car today. All the dealer would say is that there are extensive issues.
He mentioned driving through 6" of water in post 18,247. I was waiting for more about this too, saw the post, still waiting. [Mostly because it's something I'd do too.]
OK yes I now remember reading that, but didn't even think there would be extensive damage!

Was the water hit at pretty fast speed? If it got sucked in and hydrolocked the engine it had to be pretty deep or the inlet to the intake is located low and got sucked in. Did the engine crank over but won't start, or locked up and won't crank over? Hopefully it's not hydrolocked, but instead only something electrical got wet and cut-off the engine.

Supposed to know more tomorrow but they think the water was higher than 6".

We are looking for dinner. Evening started kind of hectic because I got home and mom’s car wouldn’t start after she packed it up for the trip. She said no signs of anything wrong and was starting fine before. Made the noise of a dead battery so I got my battery tester out and it said bad cell replace. I’m like well dang you got lucky that this didn’t happen when at the beach. We got the battery at Sam’s Club. They tried to tell us that it wouldn’t be covered under warranty if they didn’t install it but we confirmed with the manager that wasn’t true. Normally I’d never buy anything other than Interstate Batteries because I’ve had continuous good luck with them but Interstate dealer was already closed and Sam’s had the best price. Glad I was able to get that put in this evening during the pouring rain lol. They gave me $20 for doing it said buy something nice when we are gone on the trip I’m like ok but you don’t have too pay me I’m your son lol. I’ll put that towards my Red Lobster because man I’ve been craving those garlic cheddar biscuits and there’s a Red Lobster still in my work town so I’m going either tomorrow or Wednesday or Thursday because they said they won’t be back till late Thursday.
