I finally gave up on my old Shindaiwa trimmer and got a Ryobi 40v model at Home Depot. Surprisingly, it’s way more powerful. I love it.

It’s heavier and my arms are tired but I’ll get used to that.

40v is where things get serious for lawn care - 20v is fine for other things

I’m eating Taco Bell tacos right now while my parents eat their nasty vegetable beef stew lol. And also planning for Tuesday and Wednesday evening when I’ll finally have the house to myself. I’ll probably go to the mall after work and then to Red Lobster one of the days because man I miss the garlic cheddar biscuits. They closed the Red Lobster in my hometown but there’s still one in my work town. My parents don’t like Red Lobster so they will never eat there when we are over that way. I might see if I can get some buddies together to go because I hate eating alone. If I had more time I’d go to another town but I would not have time to drive 70 miles after work and be back in a reasonable time.

I’ve been wanting to start getting battery tools forever but have been paralyzed deciding which brand and battery type. I was interested in Milwaukee and Marita stuff but finally came to the conclusion that I do t use anything enough to justify the cost and the Ryobi stuff will do just fine.

I’ll do 40v for yard stuff and 18v for everything else. Might get some Milwaukee when it comes to plumbing tools.

I think the food is great. Good taste in my opinion better than tacos from a Mexican restaurant. And it doesn’t make my stomach upset like others claim it does theirs.
