Just signed off of work. We're off today but I remembered seeing an e-mail yesterday from I/T that my password would expire soon, so I didn't want to come back from the holiday spending time on the line with the helpless desk.

At some point I need to run out to the post office to check my mailbox and then to the local Amazon locker to pick up a package. I may even squeeze in a trip to Menards. I'm a wild-man, I am.

Thinking about loud talkers....
I have a few women friends that are that way and I think I'll put them on text only....
Very irritating and the high velocity in which they do so....

Loud talkers (like in the executive lounge I’m in) - kids in bars - out of control on planes - all cabins - there’s little quiet left

I dont feel safe to go to Chicago and definitely not NYC just for pizza . I eat it with silverware at Glory Days in Lawrence but at home by hand. During the pandemic, I avoided unnecessary touching out of fear and paranoia. I think when its scolding hot, a fork on a plate is fine. Back yard trying to keep dogs away from it then its by hand.
Pineapple on a pizza is okay especially at buffets but not on my pizza. Supreme only! Have great weekend everyone.

Just finished replacing the plugs and carburetor on my motorhome generator. Running great now!

Spent the morning working on the stallion phantom mount. Used a large post to knock our guide hole 3.5 feet deep. Removed it, filled with some redi-mix and dropped in the mount. Leveled the plate and will let it set a few days before putting the phantom on.

I went to grab the post pounder, while it sat unused a month, a Robin made its home there. Unfortunately I had to move the nest so I used some old sticks to carefully place it nearby. Later on I saw the Robin at it, just hope it won't abandon it.

Took the Corvette to the coin op wash for a much needed cleaning. It sat outside in the rain while waiting for the parts so it was covered in water spots. I wanted to take it to my girlfriends for the weekend but we’re supposed to get another round of severe thunderstorms and she has big trees on her property

Going to my sisters house to see if I can't get her A/C to limp along through this heatwave. Man on a cane is going to fix a A/C unit....part of it I guess. HVAC company wanted $800 to "fix it" today. Just based on what shes describing its just a start capacitor that's gone out. I know a company has to make money but a $760 Markup is a bit excessive.

Honestly we had to do stuff like that too..

I see a English guy as the Amish say.. with two Amish boys about 10 years old coating a driveway with sealer.

It's already 100F out and it's a large gas station and repair place but closed today... doing it with squeegees.. the old guy just pours it..
