Just got done installing a ABS sensor on dad’s truck. Not too hard took about 10 minutes. Now we are just riding around. It was very humid I was dripping sweat lol.
I might just have to buy some Toyota filters instead. I was starting to like the Supertechs as they are easy to cut open (and cheap).
I can tell it's summer now, I started putting ice into my drinks. Having some seltzer from our maker (5oz fruit juice + 23oz water, give or take). Cold beer to come later. Might mess around with some programming, not sure what I want to do (don't feel like cleaning my workbench, that much I know).
With the race over, sitting with friends at Norwalk. Several weeks off until Sonoma.

Get a Carquest Premium (or any of the Premium Guard made filters). The Toyota filters are rock catchers
I've heard that, but the '11 Camry I had went to 232k and the '99 Camry went to 268k on 'em (lost due to wrecks). I cut open most filters and have yet to find rocks though, so they must be passing the stones. Then again the oil pickup is on the bottom so maybe the rocks don't get sucked up? explains why so many engines get damaged by running the oil too low, all the rocks that get pumped around.
Watching Apollo 13 on TV. I do love watching the engineers figuring out how to get the astronauts home with very limited resources and technology…

I was looking at the store list for SouthPark Mall and saw they have a Louis Vuitton store there and just out of curiosity since I need a new wallet I took a peek at the prices and almost had a heart attack lol. $550-$650 minimum for a wallet uh yeah hard pass on that lol. I’ll be good buying another $20 Walmart wallet lol. I mean yeah the Louis Vuitton one would probably last a few decades but I don’t have the coin to drop on that right now lol. I can’t imagine Neiman Marcus being any cheaper haha or any of the other designer stores.

I have a $10 handmade leather wallet tied together with horse hair. I bought it at a civil war reenactment years ago. They had two, I only wish I bought both at the time because the vendor closed and didn’t exist a couple years later. Oh well, this one I have will probably last me forever anyway.

We used to have a local leather and biker shop that we had gotten a bunch of the chain wallets from that keep your money straight and not folded. Wish I could find more of the same quality. But I haven’t used my chain wallet since high school because couldn’t have chains and it’s not good to have when working on cars either. I also have a handmade wallet that I got from this local guy at a flea market a few years ago.

I bought my wife a $5,000 LV purse last Christmas. She still doesn't leave me alone though.
May have been a waste of money.
Started tearing apart my generator on my motorhome to see if I can see why it will start but not run. Looks like it might need a new carburetor. Oh and a new muffler but that’s a separate thing. I can’t wait to finish this and sell it.

My first wife bought me a wallet in 1997 when we first started dating and I still have it today. I’ve only had 3 wallets my entire life. When it starts falling apart I’ll replace it but this one still has a lot of life left in it
