For a while I was tasked with maintaining a VB6 program that was about 6k lines of Chef Boyardee code in a single file. I think there had been about a dozen guys there before me and there were a lot of comments in there like:

'I can't figure out what it does but everything blows up without it

I moved to a different job a couple of years ago but at my last one a couple of our developers were still supporting a VB6 app for the provincial government!

I determined that it is possible to install and use VB6 on Windows 11 🤣
 
If you take those new rides out, stretch their legs, that I get.
The times in the not too distant future is changing things.
Would you get the same enjoyment for shaking down a classic bike or car as you would an EV?
If you can answer yes to both of those questions, you'll be just fine.
I can't unfortunately:(
I'm bitter as a result.

Speaking of PM's and time...my work calendar for Monday has me scheduled for 3 meetings at 1PM, *two* of which were scheduled by the same PM for different audiences/topics.

No wonder the person has no understanding of what we've been doing for the last 5 years...
 
Failed attempt at renewing my EDL on line, must go in person, only appointment is after current EDL expires more than a month from now.

I’m giving a private Niagara Falls tour to a lovely couple, he is from NYC and she is from Florida. It’s a perfect day here, sunny and in the low 70s 🤩

I stopped off for breakfast on my way here and got pretty decent gas mileage in the Civic (this was about a 60 mile trip)
