Should have went to service this morning. A co-worker texted is coming over to target shoot. I'm like sure, but you gotta be out by 1 when I leave. I'm pretty much bored shooting guns minus occasionally plinking with a .22 at cans and bottles.

Just got out of bed. Had a sucky night of sleep. Wife was watching The Walking Dead season 11 in bed and I'm trying to fall asleep while I hear zombies. I don't like that show. Woke up with her cuddling me because I was hot. Cuddling is usually great in the fall and winter but in the summer it sucks as I have the AC at 74.

That would not fly in my house, we tolerate doing 64-65 in the summer for sleeping but not a hair warmer. Electricity costs would have to be through the roof before we give that indulgence up. Rest of the house is much warmer, and in winter we will aim for a bit of a lower temperature. We're not big on heat apparently.

Speaking of which, I did like 20 minutes of yardwork and I was done for, a sweaty mess. Sunny, but only 77F and 46% humidity? that was what the web says, but our thermometer said high 80's with with like 50% humidity. I thought it kinda rough and would like to sit in the basement for the rest of the day now.

The white noise doesn't bother me, it's almost soothing. As I slowly realize I have tinnitus I suspect it'll only help.

I do like a fan but at some point it's too cold for my head. Plus a/c is good with removing humidity. Nothing worse than the air feeling sticky.

I found out today my two neighbor girls moved out ... sort of sad because the last few years I haven't been around much... they are older like most kids but I remember them as 4 and 6 years old.. a bit heavy on the old heart...

Actually, she did fine. Girls are better to teach than boys I think. They listen and don't have much ego invested.

We drove around a church parking lot for a 20 minutes then I drove us to a semi-rural neighborhood where she practiced. Some folks might have been worried we were casing the neighborhood but no mailboxes were harmed.

LoL. Whooo weeee. YES indeed. I did the same thing with both of the son's girlfriends years ago. I took them out to a very large parking lot and field next to our local library. RIGHT! The women are much easier to teach for some reason.....
