I’m trying to figure out how to order checks from my credit union or bank so I can pay my personal property tax on my car. I found out it was due June 1st and my mom had gotten the mail the day it came and sat it aside and forgot. Now I also have to go in an edit my budget because I didn’t have that $312 added in my required amount for bills.

Apparently it would be more if I hadn’t paid tax when I bought it as well. I’m like good lord lol. My Beetle was free and the truck I sold was $18. They do it based on age and value apparently.

That personal property tax is not good.
Florida doesn’t have this tax, but we get taxed elsewhere.

I’m talking to my friend about our trip again and trying to decide if we want to do an overnight trip or just a day trip. And listening to my parents go on a crazy rant about it which is funny to listen to lol. They are like you aren’t driving your car down there the insurance is too high for that. I’m like it’s not your car and not your insurance so why are you worried about it. They drive me crazy sometimes lol. Then they said if we do go we can’t take the interstate I’m like how else are we going to go it’s a big city that we know nothing about even though I’ve been there before. I will probably ask to sit down and talk to them about why they are trying to be this way with me. My friend agrees they are crazy. But we are going regardless of what they say. I don’t like to be like that but it’s just how it has to be.
