She’s dating the other boss lol. This Tundra had aftermarket wheels and they don’t fit properly so they shouldn’t even be on the truck and each time the customer has this issue. So since I happened to be the lucky one that worked on it I got blamed for it even though I noted they were not proper wheels for the vehicle and should not be used as noted each time. The customer came back and said yeah I have this problem each time but it’s the wheels that came with the truck so I’m in the process of getting new ones can you just double check them because I know this issue and I’m not mad or anything. Then I get called to the office where her and the boss she’s dating chew me out and say if I ever have this happen again then I’m fired and that they have had this happen 5 times with me which is a lie. Then brought up stuff that happened over a year ago which also isn’t true.

Did you explain to them that the wheels aren't right for the truck and that's what causes the issue? Sounds like even the owner of the truck realizes that. Should have had the customer tell them the same thing.
 
Thinking about dear old dad
Today was his birthday but he passed away 11 years ago....
Doesn't seem that long ago.
His brother passed 4 days earlier and as a kid he always said when he died he was taking my dad with him to protect him and he was the older brother.... makes you wonder...

I tried to but the the boss was a tech for 5 years back 30 some years ago and said he’s perfect and has never messed up and said I needed to learn how to install wheels because I’m not 12 anymore and that the fact they are the wrong wheels that it doesn’t change the fact they weren’t tightened down but they were tightened down just not the proper wheels so they don’t sit right. And his girlfriend who is also a boss agrees with everything he says and knows nothing about cars and everything I said they are like no remember he was a tech and he’s perfect and never once messed anything up so you have to figure out what you are doing wrong.
 
@AutoMechanic that sucks. I dealt with some garbage at work, a few years ago it got bad enough that I was willing to pull the pin with over 17 years in. I began researching other opportunities for my experience. I told upper management that there are plenty of other places hiring right now and I'll walk. It went well.

What that did was give me my power back. It forced change and work has been the best it's ever been. But the key, I work there because I want to, not because I have to. You need to get your power back.
 
Time for HR and checking other shops for job openings. You've become the target and it won't get better unless both of those "managers" leaves. You will probably get more heat after going to HR, but you're already a target for them and need to move on.

Most OE wheels are hub centric. Most aftermarket wheels are lug centric. If the aftermarket wheels with their larger center bore than the OE wheels don't have the proper lug nuts to center the wheel on the studs, it can result in the wheel not being centered with the hub, which could lead to working the lugnuts loose, as the wheel shifts on the hub. Not to mention the poor ride which would result.

Yes, it does sound like they've got it in for you. I'd be seriously looking for new opportunities, before they claim they let you go for cause.

The aftermarket wheel manufacturers make hub spacers to adapt their "one size fits all" wheels. They post the info if they recommend a wheel for an application that requires them.

They are lug centric wheels with no adapter rings to go on the hub and factory lug nuts.

Yep, that's what I assumed from your description. That's a no-win situation, when the customer doesn't have the correct lug nuts, or adapter rings, to allow the wheel to be mounted centered on the hub. You might try explaining that to the boss, but it sounds like he isn't open to listening.

As @Zee09 said, your best bet might just be to keep quiet, do the best job you can, but be seriously exploring other employment options.
