What are you doing right now?

Did some stucco - parging painting today on my shop .. before and after...after the deck i cut it off and need to do some more Crack repair and scraping. I can only work a few hours as I'm having some medical issues..

The roof, deck, and balconies are getting replaced and I also painted the other side... woodpeckers attacked nothing but the stucco...my luck

Careful on that ladder!

well...earlier I went and took another look at the mini truck grill lights I buggered up two days ago/blew fuses.
Went back at it, saw my wiring mistake and now I have two mini 12V amber led lights in my front grill that are working . More to come.
They are so faint that no worries with annoying other drivers in traffic, mainly just a ''marker Light'' that you can see when it gets dark out, but does not cast light onto the roadway. I have a few more larger, slightly brighter amber ''penny lights'' coming next week, i'm confident I can also hook these up without frying my truck to the ground.
Other then that, just came back from a '' Step'' walk, to a grocery store and back for my lotto ticket. My Samsung phone pedometer app says I only did 3046 steps, but later on tonite when it cools off, I walk my Husky and hopefully hit closer to 7,500 steps or so. Whatever it takes to keep pre diabetes at bay, a healthy heart and healthy brain/mind.

My Vancouver temperature reading is at 23 C/ 74 F/ 54% humidity, which is perfect, bit of a slight breeze.

I want to go spray down the Huskysauras with the front garden hose, help cool him off and make sure he drinks cool water, stays in the shade. Gotta be care careful here, we at stage 2 water restrictions (soon to go to stage 3) and there can be a $500 City fine for disobeying the water rules.
No car washing, no pressure washing, no lawn sprinkling, no hose watering the fig trees and shrubs in the front yard.
Husky pup will get quickly hosed down as needed, regardless of restrictions.....not gonna let him suffer (and don't worry, he can come inside to the back ground floor laundry room with cool tiles to lay on, or the half covered carport with concrete floor. Even set him up his own oscillating fan!.....spoiled pup has it better then me when I was a young boy in the summer heat.). At night he comes inside, I turn on fans, we snack and watch TV.

As stated prior my father was a painting contractor for 55 years and I worked with him 13 years full time and 4 years part time... the only people that don't know about roller poles were those on Trading Spaces from the 90s grin 😀
It's a good reminder to be careful , regardless.
Sometimes we become too complacent , having done things repetitively and never injuring ourselves...on auto pilot.
Yapping away or getting distracted or having a No fear attitude.
Next thing you know, you wake up in some hospital, being spoon fed mushy peas by a nurse and eager to tell somebody about your near death experience involving you long dead grandpa, an Alien, God, and king Tut.

As long as the nurse is hot 🔥 😆 🤣
