Left shabbat service and my wife wanted to get a planter at Lowes on the way home. There was a beautiful young congregant with her parents. I exchanged info with the father and I hope to help set up a date for my nephew that is attending OSU and is now on summer break staying with me.

I did the same yesterday...worked myself to death...sat on my front steps until I got some oxygen in me..
Visiting my aging parents. One of my brothers came over as well. We fixed a few odds and ends around the house, then got the rototiller going. It sits most of the year and had stale gas in it. My brother said its always hard to start and runs rough. Well, we threw out all the old jerry cans (old gas smell, debris in the them) and bought a new one and filled it with fresh fuel, stabilizer and some cleaner. The tank was dry but it fired right up and ran really strong.
We tilled the large garden, raked it and cleaned up some other odds and ends. Mom fed us well!

I was relaxing in bed this morning just before 8:00 when I checked my email and saw that someone had just booked a last minute 10:00 walking tour in Niagara Falls. Normally I don’t work Sunday so I sent a quick text to see if one of our other guides was available to do it and nobody was! I immediately jumped in the car and luckily it’s only a 30 mile drive from my girlfriend’s house (if I was at home it’s 80 miles and I would have been late). My guests ended up arriving at 9:30 so that was awesome to be able to start the tour early and get it done sooner. It’s a nice sunny day here (and mid 50s) so my girlfriend and I will be heading to Port Colbourne today and walking around there.

We are heading out to a town my dad grew up in to visit his parents graves. His dad died in 1963 and his mom died in 1984. We went and seen my mom’s mom yesterday for Mother’s Day. When I get back home my friend said he had a Walmart delivery ordered for me that will be there soon so it’s probably more soap and deodorant which I’m excited about lol.

We went for breakfast at the daughter and SIL's, then the wife wanted to go for a two-up ride on the old hot rod. It has been a great mothers day.
I’m always frazzled on Mother’s Day. Wife seems ok with it
