I'm outside preparing my parging for painting. The paint job was good for 26 years and some nut job wood pecker would hit it every day and it caused water to get under the paint and peel, making the job ten x harder.

My wife wants to see that movie. She was a catalog/E commerce model in NYC in the early 2000's for a short stint. She was listed at 5'8.5" and was considered too short for higher end work. She said women including her, were always being degraded for weight and everything else that wasn't perfect. Many of her colleagues used cocaine to stay skinny and were ruined by it. My wife wasn't making enough in the industry and ended up getting a degree at Brown Univeristy and I feel like the luckiest man on Earth.

Getting ready for bed. My friend said he has ordered me a surprise package that is scheduled for tomorrow from Walmart Spark delivery between 8pm-10pm. I’m like oh lord more soap and deodorant and cologne just what I need lol . I already knew what it was before he told me. It’s a single bar of Dial Gold soap, three Kenneth Cole colognes and Coty Musk cologne and then a Dove Men Coastal Cedar spray deodorant. He wants me to compare Coty Musk to Jovan Musk so I’ll do that once winter rolls around because I do my scents by season. I told him he didn’t have to buy me anything but he said he was aching to spend money and had already bought himself some stuff lol. I’m like alright lol.

Sitting in amazement at how efficient Amazon can be sometimes. I placed an order yesterday afternoon. Received an e-mail last night that the order is shipped and today it is "out for delivery."

Pretty impressive. Moreso since I'm not a Prime member.

Getting ready for bed. Just took my shower. I was happy to see my Padres win against the Giants. So far there’s a lot of teams doing ok that I didn’t expect to be doing ok like the Athletics and White Sox who are finally above last place for the first time in like ever lol.

Just took apart a window mount AC to see why the fan wasn't working. Turned out to be a piece of plastic had broken off the air vent diverter and was stick in the squirrel cage fan. I snipped the diverter bits out so now the air will only blow straight. Oh well and good enough. I cleaned the exchangers and boy are those fins flimsy. I kinda mushed a big section a little so hopefully the air will still flow through it well enough.

This thing is 25 years old so it doesn't owe me anything.

I was going to go outside and opened the door and a squirrel was on my sidewalk about 8 feet away actually day dreaming. I talked to him and he wouldn't move.

I started snapping my fingers and he made flinching movements but I guess he didn't see me...

He finally woke up and looked at me and ran off...
Twenty minutes later I went back out and he left a walnut for me at the foot of my door

I saw a clip on Thai news about a dog that would come to this food vendor that kids liked to stop at on the way home from school. They have lots of those there, the carryout is prepped right there at the cart or booth.
Anyway, the dog would come and beg, but they didn't give him anything. Smart dog saw people handing them money and getting their snack. He put two and two together and started bringing them a leaf everyday. Now they take the leaf and give him a snack.
