I wish I could be getting my ear talked off like that. My mom died of cancer at only 64 years old (in 2009)I'm getting my ear talked off... On my weekly call with my 80 year old mother.

. Cook me some food, pick that up, change the channel, turn that music down, drive me everywhere, bla bla bla. My wife gets away with everything but not me. She even once told me she wished her daughter had married someone besides me because I didn't want to go out and pick up some food from 30 miles away.
Take that to the bank.And if you did she'd probably complain that the food was cold by the time you got back...
Duty is one thing, but the child of this person is the responsible party. IMHO.

I'm in basically the same situation, except as soon as my wife moved her mother in she took a job in the next state and is gone 3 or 4 days most weeks. Yeah, I hear you. My dad died about a year ago so I need to do better with calling her.

Just part of the job for a son in-law. I actually believe she is going to out live me sometimes. She will be on the news someday at 120 years old.And if you did she'd probably complain that the food was cold by the time you got back...

I’m waiting on approval at work for some brake work on a brake concern. Also sitting here feeling good knowing that I’ve got one credit card fully paid off as well as cash advance apps that I had and have made it ahead on all my debts so far by at least one payment. I spent all but $22 of the money from the truck on debts. With the $22 I bought some Davidoff Cool Water cologne to match the deodorant stick for when I use it lol. I plan to pay off at least one more credit card when I get paid.
