What are you doing right now?

It's early February, it should be snowing, but it's going to be in the 60's today. So we're going to take advantage of the roads being nearly empty due to various sporting events we couldn't care less about being broadcast, and go for a ride.
 
We were going to go to the basketball game but they started it an hour earlier than scheduled because they wanted to be over by 3 due to the Super Bowl so by the time we got there they were already in half time. I said well it would have been helpful to know that they are like an email was sent out a week ago but since I won the tickets I didn’t get an email. Also plan to do DoorDash later but every place we’ve seen says they are closing up early for it this year I’m like well this sucks but still might be making money from the places that are open. It truly amazes me how many people go crazy over football lol. Guess it’s a manly thing though.

It's actually Vonn. Hope she's not injured. Any of these men or women downhill ski racers can crash since they push it to the edge every time. Not a reason to think they shouldn't be on the team.

As for what I'm doing, getting ready to sign back into work. Our vendor had an issue where our processing stalled for about 8 hours. They didn't notice until we raised the issue so it's time to make up for that...

Funny thing, I worked in I/T for 25 years before the field spit me out 20+ years ago. Back then, we had all sorts of monitors that would let an operator know of issues, or in some cases, the system would page the on-call person directly with no operator intervention. Kind of wondering how things regressed since then, given all the the hype about AI and machine learning and so on...
 
Just got a pizza at Pizza Hut I’m personally not a fan of Pizza Hut but dad was paying so I’m eating lol. I wanted Chinese food but all the Chinese places are closed now.
