What are you doing right now?

I’m walking around Walmart. Mad they aren’t playing Christmas music at this location but at least the music is decent I suppose, still makes me mad though as I believe it should be illegal to play regular music in December. I remember back in the day when the old Christmas music station used to play it till New Year’s Day me and mom loved that. I guess there is a lot of people out there that don’t like Christmas lol.

Meanwhile, I was in Jewel the other night getting some grocery shopping done and the store's sound system was playing "The Dreidel Song."

Painted spare bedroom Saturday put back furniture this morning. For a small bedroom it took the full day needed some wall n trim repairs I did after work during the week..

I’m looking at all the school closings and delays right now and praying that my work also closes or at least opens late tomorrow lol. Mom is off so I need to be off too haha. Supposed to get two more inches of snow and a nice layer of ice tonight into early morning.

Finished one side of my basement sill insulation project. Spray foamed the sill plate between the wood and cement foundation.Not easy since it's a finished basement and had no visual of what I needed to spray. I can feel it with my fingers so that was extremely helpful. Feels like a covered everything I needed to. Tomorrow I will get a better idea how good it came out windy day and below freezing expected.
 
Bit of a zombie, my watch says I slept 5 hours last night--but I think it was 3. Trying to mess around with stuff in my man cave but my brain has signed off for the night.

Think I found a set of snows for the wife's car on CL. That'll be a nice find, if it works out. Will hate moving them, but I guess that's what moving blankets are for.

Edit: forgot to mention: took the car to the garage for what might be its last inspection (state is doing away with them). They said the battery was shot, which I kinda knew. 180 cold cranking amps left. Battery says 307 on it. Got home, let it cool off, tested later. I measured something much higher with the completely legit & utterly cheap Amazon battery tester. So I turned on the headlights and noticed that the battery voltage dropped quite a bit. Went to start it with the headlights on, after being on for say 1.5 minutes and... wouldn't start. ! Might have to replace that in Walmart's parking lot tomorrow.

Got some chicken at Popeyes. One of the only places in town that’s still open everywhere else has closed because of the weather. Didn’t make much money today at work we had 17 cars at Toyota come in most were express so I done 3 cars today. We hopefully will open late tomorrow as it’s supposed to be 16 degrees and lots of ice and black ice so hopefully they will do the right thing and open late. They didn’t sell a single car today at any franchise which was pretty disappointing.

Did you have to duck when you said that? A couple of gals at work were grousing about skinny fashion models and said they should be made illegal. I told them that was a terrible idea as women have so few good role models these days. The stitches should come out next week.

I just finished my first hour on an exercise bike I picked up for free on Marketplace. I swear, you should never consider actually paying for an exercise bike. People are basically begging for someone to come take theirs away.

I might have over done it a little, though. The cardio aspect was pretty underwhelming but I think my butt, lower back and hamstrings are going to be letting me know about it.

My friend puts her on the phone with me and she says she was sorry she didn't get to see me In August and we have a short chat. She tells me it is what it is and they are going to make me comfortable.

Acceptance only a 88 year old has.

It's been awhile. She said I'm not doing this hospice stuff... Very rare to survive an aortic dissection let alone at her age....

They can't do anything for her but she's looking for a rehab facility as she has been off her feet for a good while. Hoping to be home before Xmas....taken today....88 years old and a master of the cell phone...texting etc and still runs her own custom cork apparel business.
She makes it all by herself
