What are you doing right now?

I have 30 sticks of deodorant a few are duplicates. This is like me when I am trying to pick my next soap lol.
Well, Duh! You use one of the duplicates. Then you use the next duplicate, and so on.

Ask @Pablo, @Zee09, @KCJeep, and some other filthy rich posters on here. How do you think they became rich? That's right. Wise use of deodorant by using up all their duplicates first, thereby not necessitating a replacement purchase until absolutely needed. If only I'd learned that when I was your age.

Please take notes.

I’m watching the Seattle Mariners @ Toronto Blue Jays game. Honestly like both teams and glad to see them in the playoffs so I say let’s play a good series and whoever wins congrats to them and I am glad we will have an AL team who hasn’t been to the World Series in over 30 years or one that has never appeared at all. For the NL I want the Brewers to win. All my neighbors had football parties today. We are having a baseball party lol.

Eating canned beef stew…definitely not one of my favorites. Parents are out of town and I’ve cleaned up their leftovers (live on the same farm so I usually always eat with them) and I’m not much of a cook so it’s either microwave something or fast food. Being single sucks 😂

I had it on long enough to see Toronto's George Springer do a leadoff home run.

The game looks stunning on my Sony NextGen TV. Fox is broadcasting the game OTA in 4K HDR but you need a NextGen TV and a station broadcasting in NextGen. OTA NextGen 4K looks better then the compressed lower bitrate 4K you get when streaming. I had a 65" Hisense NextGen TV I gave my nephew which was a very good TV.

The game just ended with a surprising Mariners win. It also didn’t feel like it dragged like some games do so that was good. Now I’m looking at insurance quotes some of the prices almost gave me a heart attack lol. Probably going to stick with the same company my parents have just on my own plan because we figure if we call them and ask they can probably do better than the online price since I’m already insured there. Super excited about the car though. Dad and me haven’t been getting along since I bought it so I’m just going to let it go for now and hope it passes. He’s mad that I chose to get that particular car instead of something older and cheaper. I say just let it pass and it will be fine. At least he is going to help with the insurance because when I have to talk on the phone I get nervous and can’t think of what to say lol. Funny we actually saw our insurance agent today at Walmart and he’s like well just call me because I don’t think about work outside of work. Fair enough I guess lol.

The one thing not taken into account was the Ms relievers and starters really have been doing this all season pretty tirelessly

If Ms hitting wakes up…
I’m a little bit scared about my Jays. Their bats went silent tonight 😳 At least we have Tre Yesavage on the mound tomorrow. He’ll make things very difficult for Seattle hitters.

Morning run and enjoying Nature.

I used to love power outages spending 40 years living on Long Island.
Ever since we moved south almost 20 years ago we never lost power for more than 4 hours. Go figure. It's exactly the opposite of what I thought. Even now moving to the coast just two years ago form the midlands of SC, first thing most people from the north do is inquire or buy or even have whole house generators installed. We thought about it the first year only to learn even here on the coast, the last people used them in the older section was 2018.

My wife was initially more concerned then me so I bought here a couple of those camping propane lamps. *LOL*
Generator still on my mind for the one in ten years it might be needed for a while. Just dont know. Would keep it simple with a propane 240/maybe 30 amp unit to plug into the panel and run a few things and maybe a window AC - store it in a box until needed if ever.

Yeah, been in the same house since 1996 and could not total 24 hours net - it’s always a couple hours or less due to physical damage …
I went a little overboard with gens at one time - now, an older whole house sits idle - two gas gens in a shed (doubt the alternators make much now) …
Gave away two gens …
I have a 5 year old WGen9500 on propane that I exercise and PM - portable AC - natural gas for heat - and a freezer with nothing but ice …

This is our second outage beyond an hour in 5 years. I can’t really complain given how rural and north we are.

The Predator 9500 in eco mode run is pretty much powering everything currently. Let’s see where this tank ends up.

Power back.

Wow the generator and the staff did well. Juno thought the whole thing was a great adventure all planned out!!

The only fly in the sandpaper was the Marantec garage door opener for the main garage completely forgot where it was. I b'd and moaned at it. No help. So I lubed it and banged on it. No help it but was faster and quieter so there is that.

I tried to relearn it, it was like trying to tell AI to take a nap. Ugg.

So I unplugged it at the head. Waited a bit, plugged it back in, gave the whole works a second lube (it needed it) and viola!! Works better than a fiddle.

Anyway, I need a shower and some deodorant.
