Finally got dad out of Walmart lol. At least the Padres are winning. Dad is happy to hear his Reds officially clinched the wild card. Hopefully whatever happens that the Phillies, Dodgers and Yankees will all be eliminated because I strongly dislike those teams. I’d prefer if the Mets don’t go either. Was glad to see the Astros eliminated too they are always in the playoffs these days. First time in years that they are missing the playoffs.
 
Just chilling. It’s the last day of the regular baseball season which sucks but I’m looking forward to the playoffs too. Lots of good teams in this year. I wish they didn’t do day games for the last day it’s really inconvenient but I look forward to watching at 3:05pm.

I find it inconvenient too because I will be busy all afternoon and can’t watch the Jays game live. My ex wife’s son has tickets to today’s game in Toronto so that will be an amazing game to be at. When I was married to his mom I would go to a lot of games with him, we had seasons tickets back then. He was there with me in 2016 when the Jays won the wild card against the Orioles with a walk off 3 run homer in the 11th inning
 
I thought The Reds were not locked into the playoffs. It all depends on the outcome of their game today and the Mets game. The Reds do have the tie breaker.

The timing is a bit annoying for me too but I guess they do it because they want all the games to start at the same time today. Makes sense so nobody knows the results before their own game and thus they don’t get the advantage.

For example the Jays or Yankees could both win the AL East. Gausman is starting but if the Yankees played earlier and lost, the Jays would clinch so might just do a bullpen day instead.

Wow. I remember hearing about that game. Back then we were more for the Orioles but now they are a joke lol. I remember my coworker lost $2,000 back a couple years ago when the Orioles lost the ALDS to the Rangers.

I am just at work chilling till the cars come. My coworker is talking about how he won $500 for his last day game predictions and now he is regretting his bet for the Dodgers winning the World Series too. I’m glad I don’t do that stuff. Hopefully not busy this week so I can get out in time to catch a few of the games after work. It’s a shame all the ones I want to watch are at 1pm and 3pm everyday.
