I’m concerned at what a mess our medical system is and I’m not even old yet. It’s only going to be worse when I need it. I might just beat the system and die without them instead. Bet I can make it almost as far with a lot less aggravation.

I am already all to aware of current shortcomings due to my elderly parents.

I got lucky and walked in and nobody was there, and when I walked out nobody was there still.

Read my x rays in 5 minutes and I had a great lady doc and she was straight up about referrals...
I had three choices and she said one was a mean jerk and I agree as I knew him. Docs in the area and not her suggestions

I just finished working on my dad’s truck. Congratulations to Pablo on his Mariners clinching the post season today and as well to Patman for his Blue Jays. My team should clinch by Tuesday if they can win two against Milwaukee. Glad the Brewers clinched the division title too hopefully whoever plays the Phillies whoops them right out of there. Really is refreshing to see new names in the post season even if it’s wild card.

My latest mistake was choosing the wrong drug plan. Somehow I got one that has a high deductible then pays a lot for expensive meds. I don’t need that kind and I simply will never meet the deductible. I can change for next year. Easy

I didn’t have any walking tours booked for the falls but then at the last minute we had 3 people from the UK book a 1:00 tour. So I just got to the falls a few minutes ago and am heading to get the boat cruise tickets and then some food from Wendy’s (I still have coupons)

Just reviewing paperwork for the daughter's school loan. Given how obtuse the system is, I'm starting to think it's government run or something. [Federal loan, so... yes.]

I think I will skip out of the office this afternoon and go hiking. Then work the evening. Rain might be coming this week, which is sorely needed. But perhaps tonight I should run out and get some dirt for the yard, get that spread before the rain... should have done that yesterday I guess, but the son takes his car to work and gets home a bit too late for that on Sundays. And I really need a vehicle that can actually do stuff, a Corolla is ok for commuting and just about nothing else.

Got the ac units out yesterday, hadn't used in a month. Had to turn on some heat this morning, house was 60F and a bit cool I thought. Need to start thinking about what snow tires to get for the wife's car, and maybe even if I will spray Fluid Film this year, I haven't been, enough though I ought to.

Shipping out a backordered camera that I have in stock to another dealer in Georgia (Ford facilitates all the shipping and billing). Same time explaining to a body shop that has never bought from us before and has 5 Ford dealers between us that no I will not sell to him for next to nothing and no I don't deliver 100+ miles away. Also, skipping all those other dealers is usually a sign, and no if he wants to pick up he actually has to pay for his parts.

Updating my World Series projection. Ultimately I’m undecided on the National League Championship Series but I have it final as the Toronto Blue Jays vs either the Brewers or Padres in the World Series. We will see how this Padres @ Brewers series does today and tomorrow and Wednesday. If Padres win tonight we for sure get the wild card. Dad was also excited his Reds are possibly contenders for wild card too but I have them getting beat in the wild card by the Dodgers. But the main thing is we keep the Phillies, Dodgers and Yankees away from the World Series. Anyone else I’m ok with just hope it’s different teams.

Just enjoying lunch. Had potato soup. And my coworker came up to me trying to persuade me to put down money on my World Series projection winner but I’m not a sports better. I do it for fun only. He has $2,000 down for the Dodgers winning it all even though he hates the Dodgers. He also lost a ton yesterday he said because all the teams he picked to win were wrong lol.

The powers that be (MLB head office and the TYV folks) would much prefer a Yankees/Dodgers series.

The Jays are actually the biggest TV market in the league but, of course, that doesn't help much in the US.
