preparing my trip to El Salvador, Guatemala, Belize and Southern Mexico. i am going for a 1 month trip with my best friend i met in the Military 35 years ago. we are both fascinated by ancient Civilizations. we are going to spend most of the time visiting Mayan ruins. Especially El Mirador and Tikal in Guatemala. in November, i want to bring my friend to Peru and Bolivia.
Day 1 of my "trucker appreciation week" aka taking the week off ended with:
Dropped off the 01 Toyota Tundra to the mech shop for its annual state safety inspection and alignment check.
Rode the island's new overhead rail transit system dubbed "The Skyline" (never calling it that) for the first time. They should've called it "TheRail" like "TheBus" for the bus and "TheBoat" for the ferry system.
Staging parts and materials for the 01 Tundra's front door speaker component speaker installation after 2 years of putting it off (custom installations are a pita.) Will try to get pics like what I did with the rear door coaxial speaker installation.
Then picked up the truck from the shop and looked over the alignment printout. Was surprised on the toe being off-spec after installing new Toyota OEM lower balljoints. Which makes me suspect the 555 Sankei balljoints don't mimic the Toyota castings.

I went to Yucatan peninsula back in '74, beautiful country! Growing up in the cold, grass plains of Manitoba, I was blown away by the ingenuity of the ancient Mayan peoples. I've been MEANING to get back there... VIVA MEXICO

I'm waiting on a glass company to come by and install the correct shower door glass in the master bath.
Theres been plenty of times my wife and I exercised, rode bikes, ran or hiked which we got sweaty only to lead to adult activities.

Speaking of sweaty females, just back from pump class. Wow. She beat on us hard. I may feel this for several days. I have a sweaty hike Thursday and well adult activities, we will see! My gut is like a rock though, so there is that.

Getting ready to go to lunch. I’ve been looking at the MLB post season picture and making projections just for fun. Hate to see the Phillies are back in the playoffs again. I despise them lol. Go Brewers and hopefully Padres will clinch this week too. My coworker already put down $2,000 on the Dodgers winning it all again I told him he’s certainly crazy. I’d never bet on sports especially involving money. I do projections for fun just what I think and don’t care if I’m right or wrong.
