What I am doing now is kind of something I already did. I had to do it today since I could not do it yesterday. I had to go for a Blood test yesterday morning and the car started doing the hesitation bucking thing on the 4-mile drive down. I was informed after the Blood Test not to do any physical stuff for 24 hours. On the ride home the car is doing the same thing, so I get home and today I clean the Throttle Body and the MAF sensor. I did forget that on the way home the idle was not good.
At 2 pm I take the car for a drive and the 1st thing that happens is the check engine light comes on, the car is running perfect. On the 2-mile drive to the Refreshment store the bucking happened again but there was no problem with the idle and it was perfect when the car was in Neutral. Yesterday it was doing the shaking thing on the way home in neutral.
I am getting the check engine light scanned on Thursday, the car is 21 years old, and I am guessing TPS. The good thing is here is that I will find out what the code is as opposed to throwing parts and wasting money.
