I got a good laugh when I saw this. Yesterday afternoon I was having coffee with "Mrs Cathy's Coffee Posse" that started years ago of the wife and her teacher pals after a work day. Now it is a newer group the wife and I meet up with after she gets off work once a week. Its is a small group. Couple of us retired guys, husbands , the wife and a few of the teachers she still works with. We get all hopped up on the coffee and tea and take over the local Dunkin for a couple hours.
Somehow the pedicures came up. So, one of the husbands was laughing and joking with me that I need one. A pedi for me too! Anyway, about him and the wife. They go in for the similar pedi every so often with these same oriental women. He said the entire time
they are having it done.... those women sound like old fasion type writters (in some Asian language) talking a mile a minute and laughing uncontrollabe the whole time. Of course Gregory and wife have no clue what they are saying.
I told him I can only imagine. Probaby something really nice like. "OMG! These filthy Americans with too much money! Ugh. Come in here with nasty feet and make us pamper them! They ought to go soak them and de-stink them FIRST! So we all got on the kick about that. Then it turned into talk of the so many people one runs across these days everywhere in public speaking foreign languages. We sure laughed and said we wish we had a clue. Of course it is probably best none of us know what they all are actually saying about us Americans. Woof!
