I wish I could say the same Jimmy lol. Washer and dryer 2007 models both are bad so we have to use laundromat. Hopefully with my raise I can help my parents get new ones.
Been there done that. One place I worked had free coffee so I took advantage. Was sent to a conference in the same city where a family member lived so I went 3-1/2 days drinking coffee all day, then went to visit family. Who doesn't drink coffee. Following day, around noon I developed a killer headache that Tylenol couldn't touch. The next day I had to fly back and we had some time to kill before I needed to get dropped off at the airport, so we went to Barnes & Noble and I bought a coffee there. 20 minutes later, no headache.
I now stick to no coffee after about 10AM and it's all good.
IMO, buy the most simple washer/dryer possible from a company with goods parts availability---unless new features (front-loading, etc.) are a must-have.
Isy day at the ranch. Finished working the indoor arena with the baby Kubota. Loaded it up and will take it back tomorrow morning.
My wife and oldest daughter are pretty much packed to leave early for the Canadian Nationals Arabian horse show. It's just shy of 800km one way. We will be up before 5am to finish up and load horses. We have the 6 horse packed solid and 6 horses going. Boys, this is why you need a diesel..... a friend is also going with their little Chev 1500 loaded with hay and other feed.
It's going to be real busy this next week as well. Have team penning finals this weekend and then my wife and daughter come back on the 11th so she can ride in a parade as the Rodeo Queen. If things line up, I'll drive back with them to finish off the show and drive back.
If you can..... try to purchase Maytag or Whirlpool washer and dryers. According to a buddy who just retired n closed his appliance sales and repair business ..... Those two are under ownership of the same USA owned company. Joe has told me many times in the last 10 years or so that Maytag and Whirlpool are the brands he has hardly ever been called to repair. I believe him. We own one of each for near 25 years now.
I had my refrigerator repaired a few years ago, and the repair guy looked at what washer and dryer I had, which are Whirlpools. He said he hardly ever gets calls to repair Whirlpool washers or dryers.
